Information about sikadeer hunting

Sikadeer

The hunt starts early in the morning so that we are in the fields at sunrise. The hunt ends in the afternoon when the cicadas are not so active and we can spend time and recharge for the afternoon hunt until sunset. The hunt is mainly done by waiting and sneaking so it requires a good basic fitness, but we mainly wait for the cicadas in the fields they like. The hunt takes place in safe and easily accessible places. You will be accompanied by an experienced guide who will help you with everything such as spotting and evaluating the antlers before shooting.

Content of the trip

The trip starts from Dublin Airport. We drive about 4 hours by car to a village near the hunting area. Depending on the time of the flight, we immediately go to the hunting grounds to wait for cicadas in the fields and when the sunset arrives we return to the village to spend the evening on our own. The next morning we go hunting early in the morning and during the day it is possible to hunt, for example, wild goats. In the afternoon we go hunting again in the fields until sunset. We repeat this throughout the hunting trip until we return to Dublin Airport.
